After not being able to get the game in that was originally scheduled for Sunday at 6 p.m. the two teams were set to do battle on Monday only to have the weather take over and push the game to Tuesday where they picked up in the top of the second inning with Kennebunk leading 3-0.
Tuesday afternoon did not turn out to be any better for Rockland as they continued to struggle against the pitching of Kennebunk's Kip Richard who threw a five inning mercy rule no-hitter in the 10-0 win.
Rockland will now play at 5 p.m. today, Tuesday, against Ellsworth with the loser being eliminated. Kennebunk will play next on Thursday at 5 p.m. against South Portland.
Richard allowed three walks while striking out nine in the game. He hit one batter.
Nick Mazurek, Byron Thomas and Nate Philbrook pitched for Rockland allowing 10 runs, nine earned, on 12 hits and four walks while striking out five.

Caleb Burpee and Colby Lapointe had three hits each, Billy Risgo two; Robby Burns, Ben Lary, Richard and Pip Butterfield. Risgo and Butterfield hit home runs for Kennebunk.
