C-R 11-12s get playoff opening win over Bath

The Little League playoffs in District II are in full swing with playoffs games happening most every night weather permitting.

Wednesday night Bath traveled to Rockport Recreation for an 11-12 year-old baseball game with Camden-Rockport coming out on top 7-3.

Daulton Wickendon threw a complete game for C-R allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight.

Trenton Moore pitched five innings in the loss for Bath allowing seven runs on nine hits and no walks whit four strikeouts.

Connor Graffam set the pace for C-R at the plate (home run, double single, 2 runs, 5 RBIs), Matt Crockett (triple, double, single, 3 runs), Wickenden (2 single, two runs) and Cailean Schecter (single).

For Bath,Ethan Wingloss (single,run), Moore (double, run), Zach Holbrook (single, run), Dakota Jacobs, Torin Muccino (single each).

Camden Rockport will play again on July 13 when they face off against the winner of Game 4, Waldoboro and Lincoln County scheduled for July 6 in Warren. Bath will play the loser of game 4 in an elimination game July 9 at Bath.
