Tuesday afternoon at Doyle Field in Brewer, the Brewer Witches and Hampden Academy Broncos deadlocked at 1-1 after two overtimes in boys soccer action.
Luke Thomas booted a Joe Cox throw in into the net with 13:49 remaining in the first half to give the Witches a 1-0 lead. That lead was short lived as Hampden tied the game at 1-1 with 10:55 left on the clock. Ricardo DeLima got credit for the goal after his low pass was redirected by a Brewer player and went past goal keeper Brian Kearns who had come out to play the ball and was unable to recover in time.

Hampden keeper Brad Melanson prevented a Bronco loss on a diving stop with just seconds left in the second overtime, and Brewer's Kearn's came up big twice in the second half including one save during a flurry in front of the right corner of the net.
Kearns finished with eight saves on 19 Hampden shots for the 4-4-2 Witches. Harrison Haiden and Melanson combined for eight saves on 27 Brewer shots for the 5-3-2 Broncos.
