Burns hurls no-hitter in 10-0 Kennebunkport win over Camden-Rockport

(Photo by Skip Hawkes)Kennebunkport scored the only run they would need in the bottom of the first inning when Megan Cadigan reached on a walk, stole second and third base, and eventually scored on an RBI ground out by Lapointe.
A four run second inning by Kennebunkport put the game out of reach for the over matched C-R batters. Lapointe had a 2-run single in the inning, and Madore added an RBI single.
Camden-Rockport threatened to score in the fourth inning with a two out rally. Hannah Corney was hit by a pitch, and both Moira Pieri and Amy Haynes walked to load the bases. The rally fell short when Kennebunkport's Burns struck out the next batter to end the inning.
